Environmental Statement
It is the policy of Control Systems & Equipment Ltd to conduct our business in such a way as to respect the environment both locally and globally and minimize any impact we may have on it. We want to preserve and improve the environment for the benefit of generations to come.
We will comply fully with all relevant statutory regulations, and will carry out ongoing staff training to ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities to comply with these regulations.
We will reuse packaging wherever possible. We will separate waste metals, paper, cardboard, shrink-wrap, ink and toner cartridges, scrap cable and any hazardous waste and arrange for collection from the relevant recycling authorities. We will continue to find ways of reducing our waste that goes to landfill.
We will monitor energy and water use within our buildings and strive to find ways to minimize the usage. All of our sites have their electricity supplied by Ecotricity who invest heavily in wind turbines.
We have reduced our waste to landfill at our cables branch from a 660 litre bin to a 240 litre bin.
